Is Zansa's work designed to meet POPIA and GDPR?
Zansa designs its work with privacy law in mind, including POPIA in South Africa and GDPR in Europe. Models run in the client's own cloud account, and personal data is kept out of AI coding tools. Compliance ultimately depends on how each client collects and uses data, so legal advice may still be needed.
Practical design choices that support privacy include data minimisation, limiting access, keeping processing inside the client's environment, and written approval before any AI is used on client data.
No analytics provider can make a company compliant on its own. The client remains responsible for lawful basis, consent, retention and data subject requests, and Zansa's process helps by clarifying what data is used and why. Companies with specific obligations should consult a qualified privacy professional.
