How can LLMs help with forecasting and analytics without risking my data?
Use them for tasks that need no real data: explaining methods, drafting SQL or Python against a described schema with made-up sample rows, reviewing logic, writing documentation and brainstorming features. Run the generated code yourself inside your own environment, where the real data stays, and check the results.
This keeps the data in your controlled systems while still gaining speed. Describe column names and types rather than pasting records, and use synthetic examples to test.
LLMs are also useful for turning technical results into plain-language summaries, provided the figures you give them contain nothing sensitive and you check the wording against the facts. Zansa follows this approach: AI coding tools never receive personal or client-identifiable data, and AI is not used on client data without written approval.
