How does Zansa reconcile numbers that do not match between systems?
Zansa traces each figure back to its source in each system, compares definitions, and finds where the difference arises, such as timing, duplicates, manual edits or different rules. The agreed definitions are then built into the data models so the reconciled number is produced the same way every day.
Common causes of mismatch include sales recorded on order date in one system and payment date in another, refunds handled differently, or spreadsheets edited by hand.
This starts in the Data Health Check, which audits the systems, spreadsheets and numbers that do not match. The sponsor then settles which definition is correct, and the Foundation Build encodes that decision so the problem does not return.
