Does Zansa sign an agreement before it accesses any client data?
Yes. Zansa signs an operator agreement with the client before any data is touched. This sets out that Zansa processes personal information only on the client's instructions. It is part of Zansa's approach of designing for privacy laws including POPIA and GDPR.
The agreement comes before read access is granted or any data is loaded. It is separate from the written scope, price and timeline, which are also agreed before a build begins.
If you have your own template or legal requirements, raise them on the intro call. This is general information and not legal advice, so have your adviser review any agreement. Rules differ by country and sector, so check how this applies to you with a qualified adviser.
